Black granite is our specialty. The vast majority of our etchings are created on black granite of various sizes and shapes. The stone is of the highest quality and all work is personally inspected before shipment.

Custom Design

We have a portfolio of designs that you can choose from as is, or tailor one to meet your needs. We can also produce an original design from photographs or from your verbal expression of what you envision. You are the creator: Our artisans can hand sketch picturesque scenery, special monuments or replicate a portrait. Your options are limitless. A full scale drawing of your monument will be sent to your dealer for final approval before production begins.

Design, Lettering & Color

Whether you select an existing S.L. Garand design or an original that you’ve created, the lettering and coloring adds a personalized touch. Lettering options include sand blasting, pressed gold leaf and other options that we recommend you discuss with your dealer to help you make the right choice. We are the originators of the duracolor process, the coloring of etching on black granite, and our reputation for this unique application precedes us and is unmatched by others.
